FUN Filled Friday..

Sydney and Brynlee received Eagle of the Month for school and so daddy and I went to the school to surprise them.  They are having such a great year at Silver Mesa. So thankful for the answered prayers and to see smiles on their faces as they leave and come home each day!
Such a huge difference a school can make!
Grandma Joy and Papa went with us to celebrate.  I pulled the kids at lunch and we went to Chick Fil A.  They love this place.  Grandma Joy and Papa left to go back to St. George.  Papa had hip surgery and was up here for a few weeks.  We are really going to miss them:(
We then hurried home and got dressed in our Halloween costumes so we could go see my friend Alissa at her work Halloween party.  The kids were so EXCITED to see her.  It was so much fun walking around the old folks home and letting all these oldies give the kids candy and to see some of them dressed up themselves.
We had some great laughs!!!
Bryn wanted to be a "pretty" clown
Sofie a mermaid

Sydney a HOT witch and Preston was a Sumo Wrestler but refused a picture:(
Guess who was there???
Sofie's Best New Friend Taylor!!!
That night we hurried to a party that we were invited to.  Friends in our ward all got together with our families at the West's home.  Kristy is so talented and makes things so much fun.  So fun that when we left their house Preston said, "Mom, I wish Kristy was my mom".  This just made me smile because I would want her to be my mom to. She is AMAZING!!!
I wish you could see her eyelashes.  She is so cute!
This granny is pretty cute too.  She was so excited to be invited out to the party!!!
Look at these two STUDS!

So many fun games that the kids never wanted to stop.  The adults had fun too:)Ok so I am tired. It was a fun filled Friday but I sure was TIRED when it was over!!!

First SNOW

We had quite the snow storm and it was so pretty!!!
At 6 in the morning the kids were up getting in snow clothes before school.
I am not sure I am ready for this. The day before the storm I had made cinnamon roles and then while at a Relief Society meeting with my friend a mom was sharing about family traditions that unify their family and she shared that she makes cinnamon roles for the first snow fall.  I love making up any kind of tradition and then sticking to them year after year. So I think this will become one of ours:)

DARE you!!!

Would you DARE go out looking like this???

Even to school???

These kids didn't care.  It was crazy day for the D.A.R.E program.
SO thankful that schools teach our children to
Don't do drugs, not to have an Attitude, respect themselves, and educate so they know the dangers that will be there to tempt them.  I am so thankful for these kids and know that the things they will face are so much harder than what I had over 20 years ago.  It seems like yesterday...
I am getting OLD!

Thursdays with Taylor!!!

Sofie has a friend who gets to come play every Thursday!!!

Her and Taylor are so much FUN together.

Thursdays with Taylor...
We LOVE IT!!!

FALL BREAK!!!

The kids were so excited to have their cousins come for Fall Break.
Now that we live back in Utah it is a real treat to be close to our family.
We were so HAPPY when Aunt Jaclyn asked if they could come for a visit!

These boys woke up bright and early and headed outside to play ball!!!

We had so much fun with this activity.  I think this will be a new Fall tradition.  I found these cute garbage bags at the grocery store and thought it would be a fun way to serve our neighbors.
We raked their leaves and then left a little decoration in their yards.

The kids really had a good time with this.
Morgan shaped the rest of the leaves into a heart!
I love how serving others always puts a smile on faces.

They had fun acting like Monkeys in the trees!

Thanks for Coming Korbin, Reggie and Aunt Jaclyn.
We love you!

Gardner Village day out...

My friend Kristy invited us to go to Gardner Village since the kids had no school.
We packed a picnic basket, the weather was beautiful and we had so much FUN!
Thanks Kristy for getting us out of the house:)

These two love each other so much.  Sofie calls NieNie her best friend:)
Just a side note to the kids and their shirts:
Syd got a Tye Dye kit from school and so they all went outside and made a shirt.  I wish I would have got some pictures of the MESS!  I HATE this kind of stuff so I didn't even help them.  I think that Morgan and Sydney will never ever ever attempt doing this with their sisters and brother again:)  They were covered in color and the kids had ruined their shirts and let's just say the Wilson house had a melt down because of  this.  My recommendation to any smart parent.
Say NO to Tye Dye!

Preston and Sofie were so excited to ride the Ponies.
This was their first time on a horse.
Look at the SMILES!

Love this group shot!

Look who stopped in for dinner?

We were so happy when we got a call from this sweet couple.  The Sabo's were in our Grove ward and came to Utah for General Conference. ( www.lds.org)  They came over for dinner and it was so fun to catch up on all our friends in Oklahoma.  These two are the cutest little lovebirds.  They both lost their spouses and met at our Ward. They were married last year.  After they left our home, Shannon and I expressed how much we miss the people who
touched our hearts for good:)
